Son champ chronologique pourra s’étendre du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours, avec un accent particulier mis sur les langues parlées dans les espaces germaniques « mitteleuropéens ». Sa recherche pourra toucher à différents champs : histoire des idées et des représentations, théâtre et littérature, interculturalité, migrations, etc. Il ou elle devra offrir une mise en perspective historique des mondes germaniques et/ou de la « Mitteleuropa » afin d’affirmer l’expertise de l’EPHE sur une région que l’actualité politique a remise au premier plan. Il ou elle appartiendra à l’EA SAPRAT (EA 4116) ou à l’EA Histara (EA 7347).
TEXTE ANGLAIS: The director of studies will develop the study of Germanic worlds and/or Central Europe. The chronological period may extend from the 18th century to the present, with a particular emphasis on the languages spoken in the Germanic “mid-European” areas. His or her research may touch on different fields: history of ideas and representations, theatre and literature, interculturality, migrations, etc. He or she will have to offer a historical perspective of the Germanic worlds and/or of “Mitteleuropa” in order to affirm the EPHE’s expertise on a region that has been brought back to the forefront by the current political situation. He or she will belong to the EA SAPRAT (EA 4116) or to the EA Histara (EA 7347).
